How much does it cost to have an EIFS Moisture Survey performed? Fees are based on surface area. An average, single-level wall costs $450. Chimneys, dormers, and parapet walls are charged separately. The inspection includes a complete examination of all windows, doors, and other penetrations using special electronic probes. A complete written report with photographs is included. Compared to the cost of continued deterioration of the substrate, the cost of a survey is small. Moisture damaged wood is something like cancer. You have to stop it from spreading, or cut it out.
